Gilbertie's Herbs and Garden Center

Gilbertie’s is more than a nursery-it is a destination. The scented geraniums alone are worth the trip, each one releasing a different note of rose, citrus, or spice with the most delicate touch. The herb selection is equally inspiring: lush, abundant, and beautifully grown, with varieties you don’t often see elsewhere. It is the kind of place that pulls you in slowly, where you arrive for a few plants and leave with armfuls and plenty of ideas.

I went here looking for a nice house plant to get for a housewarming gift, and also was looking for some herbs. There is a good selection of house plants and I like that almost each one is identified and care instructions provided. I ended up getting some plants for myself! The herbs are also indentified and its properties given, which I find incredibly helpful. The herbs all looked healthy and I brought home a bunch to use in my cooking at home. I also bought a few clay pots to transplant them into. They also have potting soil, dirt, birdseed and bird houses, and annual and perennial flowers and outdoor plants. They also sell fresh eggs ( I was told they sell out quick). Prices are on the higher end, but I think much better quality and choice then at box stores. They also have a nice little gift area which was lovely. Parking lot and wagons for use to load up all you want to purchase.

Hey everyone it’s almost planting time. Gilbertie’s is the place to go to get all your planting needs. First of all the staff provides top notch service which shows. Second the quality of the products is out of this world. Third you cannot beat the variety of plants from annuals, perennials, shrubs and of course what they are known for their herbs. I come from NY and look forward to my trip each year. It’s my best money spent each year. Give them a try for yourself and see that there is no other business that compares. They have been in business for over 100 years and that you convince you right there! Keep up the great work. I consider them family!!

This is the best place to go for your garden. Not only do they have great flowers and accessories but their staff is the best. Especially Debbie. She is so helpful, friendly and always available. She gave me her cell # so if I ever have questions I can call her. She’s the BEST and so is Gilbertie’s. Brian

It’s early in the spring, so the outdoor shelves were a bit empty, but that’s to be expected. However, they had a great selection of both indoor and outdoor plants. I also picked up some seeds. I came with my wife, who’s been wanting to visit for a while. Overall, we’ll definitely be back as it warms up Also, I’m a photographer—feel free to follow me on Instagram: @mr.3verything 📸
